Tonique Shantel Murray was born November 29, 1981, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Doris Ricks Murray and the late Nebuchadnezzar Murray Jr.

She confessed her hope in Christ and was baptized at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church of North Little Rock, Arkansas, under the leadership of Pastor D.T. Boyd.

Tonique attended Little Rock Public Schools including Fair High School. She worked a variety of jobs including home health aide and Wal-Mart.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving mother, Doris Murray; four brothers, Anthony (Nikki) Murray, Dedrick (Kiuana) Murray, and Darvis Murray, all of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Montrell (Telicia) Murray of Sherwood, Arkansas; one great-niece; three great-nephews; a very special friend, cousin, and helper, Roylette “Sleepy” Lockhart; her little helper, Royse Chanel Lipkins; and her little prayer warrior, Aniyah Seals. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
