Derrick Clinton Johnson, Sr.

On July 20, 2026 Derrick Clinton Johnson, Sr.  Was born to the late Dewitt and Brenda Johnson in West Helena, Arkansas.  Derrick graduated from Central High and attended college at Philander Smith where he graduated and completed his   masters in business.  In his early years, Derrick joined the   Navy in 1990 through 1994, after leaving the service he worked as   security for many years along with his career as a barber.      Derrick always knew how to gather attention from many to be the comedian telling jokes and filling the room with laughter, He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and grandpa. He found Christ at an early age and attended church with his mother at Longley Baptist Church.  Derrick was     preceded in death by his brother Terry Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Dentine’L Johnson (mother of LaQuanda) and three grandchildren      Davaiveon, Dontrey, Dai’lola of Little Rock, Arkansas; his son. Derrick Clinton Johnson, Jr. (mother Tracy) and three grandchildren Derrick Clinton III, Lux’ Jurious Leon of Little Rock, Arkansas and also his son Steven Johnson of Fayetteville,     Arkansas.  He is also survived by his grandmother Celestine Davis of Fayetteville, Arkansas along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
