Ricky Ernest Burns, Sr

Ricky Ernest Burns Sr (Big Rick) was born on December 23, 1959, welcomed to the world by Jimmy and Carolyn Gail Burns who preceded him in death. Ricky passed away peacefully at 5AM on the 9th of November after many years of illness. Ricky accepted Christ in the earlier years of his life. He was a man of many talents! Always willing to help those in need even when he didn’t have it himself. He loved spending his time on the fishing bank, reading, fixing on things, gardening, cooking & coming together with his family! “Live Your Life Cause I Gotta Live Mine!” Was one of Ricky’s favorite sayings & was what he lived by.

Ricky was also preceded in death by: Grandmother Mary & his baby Sister Tosha Evette Guess.

He is survived by his 2 Daughters, Brijal Burns & Ashley Jones; 2 Sons Jarrick (Shannon) Ray & Rickey Burns Jr.; 2 Sisters, Felicia Harvell (Dale) & Jeanette Burns; 1 Brother Brent (April) Register; 12 Grandchildren; His Fiancé Peggy Roush; His Nieces, Nephews & a host of cousins & close family friends!
